How much hormone exposure is there with an LNG-IUS?

The LNG-IUS is estrogen free, and the serum progestin levels among LNG-20 users is approximately 0.3-4% of a levonorgestrel-containing oral contraceptive pill. Copper IUDs are completely hormone free.
